There was once two daisies. Each was placed next to each other. They had many conversations and would always talk about many things to curb their boredom.
Both flowers hated the rain, not only was it painful to have heavy, big drops of water come down on them, it was also very cold and scary when it rained. So they worried daily on their plight, and wished that someone would make the rain stop.
One day, an angel appeared to them and said that she had a gift for them.
“I come with this proposition: I shall give you the ability to not feel pain, scared, or cold during the rain. But in doing so, I will have to take away all your other fellings as well, such as excitement when the other petals blooms, and warmth and happiness when the sun comes out”
“If you don’t feel pain, you won’t feel happiness. Simply because you will not be able to recognize it. You cannot accept one without the other.”
Both flowers thought long and hard, and then decided to decline the angel’s proposition.
It’s always darkest before the dawn.
